Once I first began my online advertising career, I'd heard that affiliate marketing was the "method to make money online fast". I am sure that you have most likely heard that statement as well!. Probably even from me!! However, with that said, after I first started marketing online,I had completely no clue about a way to:
1. Create an internet site that I could use to market someone else's product
2. Get a product to market that actually converted into sales
3. Get traffic to my web site so someone would see what I was promoting...

Nowadays, I'm always reading some "crap" in forums from individuals spouting off, "All you have got to perform is go to Clickbank.com and search for products with "brilliant" sales letters." And by that they mean, merchandise that look attractive and would be ones that you just could obtain yourself!!

Then, they are saying you can head over to Google Adwords and start advertising the chosen Clickbank product.

Then you've got to figure out which keywords are making you sales and which ones are notaren't.

Then dispose of the ones that are not.

After that, you just let your campaigns run on "auto-pilot" and you could be rich...

Ha, Ha, Ha...

Maybe you've heard that garbage as well. And maybe you have even tried it. I know I did. And, I am certain I do not have to inform you that such strategies clearly don't work.

Anyway, let's be honest here. People ARE making a whole lot of cash as affiliates solely promoting Clickbank.com products. I know this for a fact. So, how they are doing it is the question...

Probabilities are, they're either using the techniques taught in a new course known as "The Google Sniper" system, or a few type of variation of it. I know this system works. I have many of these "auto-pilot" systems set up.

Actually, I build a little website as an affiliate marketer, marketing Clickbank.com products. Anyway, back to the course I'm referring to. It's known as Google Sniper.

The course is VERY good and not expensive. Much of what's taught is what I do. And a number of which were totally new to me. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the systems taught do not use Google Adwords! Therefore, if you dislike or aren't awfully sensible at using Google Adwords, this can be good for you.

Ok, sorry for the long, drawn out spiel. I typically ramble a bit when I am excited about things I love. blah blah blah...

The trend towards this style of internet marketing as coincided with the evolution in search engine technology which has grown increasingly sophisticated in turn rendering traditional SEO techniques useless.

The next part of the article marketing process involves submitting or publishing your articles to article directories, forums and blogs. Usually authors can publish their work to these directories for free. Normally the articles in a directory are placed in various categories and sub-categories to make them easily searchable. Directory owners usually produce income through such things as google adsense and the sale of various related products and services. Since directory content is regularly updated and has a lot of data to search the search engines tend to rank these directories high in the search engine index.

These articles are also made available to blogs, directories, email lists and website owners to publish or distribute to their clients and users in their respective market niches. Each short article contains information relevant to a particular market niche, and usually is targeted at a relatively small number of "keywords". The keywords form the basic theme of the article with the purpose of narrowing down the appeal of the article to a that particular niche. Typically the articles include a small resource box with references to the author and the websites they promote in that niche. Most article directories allow this resource box to provide an incentive for article publishers to share their work.

Article marketing provides many benefits to internet marketers. One of the principle benefits of article marketing is generating back links to your site. It is widely recognized that building back links is one of the best ways of improving "organic traffic" from search engines. Article directories, blogs, forums and other websites where you can submit your articles to typically have very high page ranks with the search engines which is one important factor in lending credibility to your website. High ranking websites are often called "authority sites", and by having links to these websites also increases the relative importance of your website to the search engine index. Article directories usually receive very high volumes of traffic purely by virtue of the sheer volume of content they contain. Many of the larger directories have literally millions of articles on a huge range of subjects.

Article marketing is however a labor intensive operation so you need to be prepared for a significant input of time and effort before you start deriving any benefit. The long term benefits however are very real and long lasting. Your articles can still be delivering free traffic years after you have submitted them.
