Simply put, the more keywords you have in your add, the more likely it is for someone to click on it. There is more to it than that though.

While you can match the popular keywords in your ad, you have to also figure out which keywords are the most popular and efficient to put in your ad to sell the product you want to provide. A decent, basic word list can help you get on the right foot, and you can later amend it to improve its usefulness for your business. You need to find a list of keywords that is relevant to exactly what your are selling. In this case, 'used bmw for sale,' would be the best choice.

Now repeat this process for all the cities you are potentially selling into, and even get more narrow by typing in a model number of the car like, used 325 bmw for sale in Los Angeles Now you see where were going!

Segment your market. Don't try to market to everyone. If you do, your campaign will not be successful. Identify key messages points. What are the messages that resonate with your audience? Have you used headlines or email subject lines that have performed extremely well in the past? Even if all of the above criteria are met, your campaign may still fall flat if you have not exposed your audience to the right message at the right time.

Consider each of these steps before creating your next marketing campaign in print or online. Your marketing is only going to be successful when you set specific goals, segment your market appropriately, use effective messaging, and create a compelling offer. Experiment with different media to get your message across and deliver a winning marketing campaign.
